Denis was unable to go with me yesterday and today so I split the dogs up and took two trips to the water. Yesterday I went at noon and it was about 100 degrees and the lighting was dreadful, today I tried for 9 am and it was about 86 degrees and well, the lighting was dreadful. LOL However the dogs had fun.

I didn't bring Shamoo the first day, all 4 is a bit much for me, and I opt'd against Sloan the second day because the rock out there is horrible on the dog feet and she has an obed show next weekend that we don't want to risk damaged feet so I took the two crazy dogs together.

On to the photos

Arnold misses this so much, we're going back to Utah for camping tonight and decided Arnold will go with us and the malis.

He's such a goon

Three little disappearing red dogs. Across the river is Arizona, wave to Arizona.

So we hit the water, 100 or so degrees, and I was like hmmm where is Backup?

And then I was like, yup, that makes sense. Sloan swims to fetch, this boy swims just to swim.

Arnold and Sloan

A view of where we hiked down from, up to the right of the photo is the Prius

Day 2:

Shamoo is on a flexi. Shamoo decided to try and drown. Shamoo is getting a new lifevest.

Shamoo laughs at the "need" for oxygen

Fear? Psh.

These two are fearless, Arnold and Sloan think about things, these two just GO. They are why handling all 4 at once isn't the best idea, I have my hands full with these two, I pulled Shamoo off of that ledge the second time she tried to jump (first time she bobbed under an incoming wake from a boat, thank god for the flexi) and I had to yell platz right as Backup tried jumping from the higher ledge to the back of the photo.

But hey, they had a blast and they keep me laughing. :)

I am always SO jealous of your scenery. The dogs look great, like they're having a freakin' blast. Arnold is gorgeous, I love him.

That is so awesome. I wish I had a place like that to take my dogs. We want to play with dock diving some more, but all our water access is shallow rivers with nothing to jump off. Pfffft.

I love every last one of these. SO MUCH. Also, I want a dog that swims just to swim, instead of seeing it to a means to the tennis ball.

Such a pretty place and such a good looking group of dogs.

OK so every time I see the title to this threat I start singing the song from the Hunger Games in my head...

Cool pictures, I wish I had that sort of picturesque landscape to take Izzy and Tango to :)
