Same here. He's very involved with what we do...we don't exclude him from much. So, we just don't do sit down places much. Today we were going to try eating at a union dinner, but Clive was just too wound up. So he and I came home, where he's happy as a clam, lol.

We eat out at sit down restaurants a lot and Mason does pretty good. I think in his 3 years we have only had to take him out of a restaurant 1 time.

Now when my nephew is there, and you get both boys together, they can get a little wild, and then we prefer to eat somewhere that has a patio or somewhere it isn't a big deal.

Same deal. Some times I am more up to it than others but really, there is plenty of time to have a sit down dinner with him.

I have always been of the opinion that if you don't like something, don't do it.

No one is going to make spankers not spank and non-spankers spank. End of story.
No one should have to defend their parenting styles.

I don't have kids yet, so I can't say I will spank or not. I will have to see what type of child I am given and how they make me feel on the subject.

The bold part I read as "try eating at a unicorn dinner".

Then pictured you guys sitting down at a huge banquet table with a roast unicorn laid out on it. :rofl1:

I'm really lucky to have easygoing laid back kids. Aurelia used to dart away from me when she was younger, so it was hard to safely take her on walks when I was pregnant. But she's cool now and Sam's not that mobile yet. lol.

They really are good. I took them to a Taming of the Shrew shakespeare in the park thingy, and they both sat quietly through the entire first hour. My daughter sat and watched the entire thing, and even asked questions about it afterward. My son crawled around in the grass during the last half, so at least he didn't bug anybody. I was pretty surprised.
