Main thing is $120 food bill each month for 60lbs of food. Beyond that, we have the various heartguard/flea medication that doesn't happen each month, but is purchased.

For the summer months of April/June/August, we've been active in Dock Diving, so...

$60 bucks a pool rental x2 = $120.
April competition = $100.
June competition = $100.
August competition = $150.

And then add in a herding lesson generally once a month in the fall/winter/spring at $60...

So generally about $100ish dollars a month, then the food bill.

I spend $50 every other month for food. 30lb bag of Acana lasts about 2 and a half months.

Treats/chews...maybe $30 once a month.

That's it.

Right now without training classes my dogs are pretty inexpensive.

Keira costs my mom $70 per month. She just needs one bag of food. It lasts her about 4 or 5 weeks.

Ripley and Dance combined cost me roughly $150 per month, maybe a bit more. That's just for food. Was cheaper when Dance just ate kibble, but not by much.

Oh, and I probably spend an extra $20 for raw bones and chews collectively for everyone monthly. But I get an awesome deal at work, otherwise it would be more. Or they'd just get less yummy chews.

They don't really get new toys aside from new chuck-it balls or soft frisbees when they die or get lost, and that happens once every few months or so. We don't do flea/tick/worm treatments monthly here. And, nobody is in training classes right now.

ETA: This month is a very expensive dog month though. I bought Dance new treats and toys while away on vacation and all three of them also have a blood panel and checkup appointment on Saturday. That's easily $600 gone! Thankfully that's not a regular occurence though.

Yeah lets just say last month was ugly given all the unexpected vet bills for cat wormer and putting Scout on behavioral meds plus getting a bunch of elk offal and tripe in bulk... its a rough life for animals here!

Oh, man. I don't even want to think about.

Luce's meds alone cost me like $120/month and that's with my discount. And I'm currently paying $80 every 1-2 weeks for Steve's rehab.

And that as much math as I'm willing to consider.

Too much. Drop in classes, agility for two dogs. food, vet stuff. Toys. Treats. Chews. Clickers because I always lose mine,

Heck I spent $150 this month on just agility equipment. And I bought them a pool too.

Yeah, put me in the "not going to even think about it" group. I go through about 8 lbs of food a day right now I think......:/

Quke is going to need his neuter soon...still debating gastropexy...sigh

Training we are currently on a hiatus...did the AKC Star program and took a CLASS prep course but then the teens hit so we are working through those now.

Marely, poor poor Marley is not doing well right now...some decisions are going to have to be made soon and I am not wanting to think about it:(

Not going to look at the past at all...Ivy;s spay and pexy, her etrip for eating the rimadyl, classes (basics, CGC, Rally, agility, etc)....yikes!

Ugh we spend a ton on food...Liberty's on a special diet after a bladder stone scare and Mammoth is a typical shepherd who does a great exploding chocolate factory impression whenever he eats anything but the finest kibble ;)
