Need some suggestions for Katalin's kennel name please - for her CKC registration form and all that.

The kennel prefix would be "CH Peacelands"

I'm thinking "CH Peacelands Diamond Cosmos", "CH Peacelands Crystal Blaze", "CH Peacelands Winter Serenity" (Katalin ISN'T serene lol), "CH Peacelands Polar Star" (as she was born in November), or "CH Peacelands Ice Princess"

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Are you sure the kennel name begins with CH? Because a CH at the beginning of a dog's name denotes it is a champion and adding it without the title would be misrepresentation.

I like Polar Star. I doubt the kennel name begins with CH, but would they actually let you register a dog with that prefix?

yeah, I doubt CH is part of the prefix. It means she's a champion and already titled...

I really like the name 'Polar Star'. :)

All of the dogs in her line are CH LOL, very few don't have that prefix - so I just assumed.

It'll be "Peacelands ---" Then.

"Peacelands Polar Star"

Her sister should have a CH I think - and she is "Peacelands Fetchin Gretchen"....eh....

Contact the breeder and ask? I for one vote for "Polar Star" and "IMA MARSHMELLOW".

CH means she is a finished champion. You can't finish a dog without a registered name in any registry as you need that name to enter shows.

She's adorable! I like Polar Star.

Indeed - CH denotes a Champion accomplishment - and she is indeed from a serious champion line - all have the highest Canadian titles and some have American as well.

No theme to the litter - everyone had free pick of their own registry name. Her mom is CH Peacelands Against All Odds and her dad is CH Peacelands Yearning. No real goofy names in her line - except for one "Yang of Wilton Can" - her great-great grandfather.

I'll have a formal poll to narrow down the registry name as I get around to getting her stuff together for it and getting in touch with the CKC.

But for now contenders are...

Peacelands Polar Star
Peacelands IMA MARSHMALLOW
Peacelands Ice Princess
Peacelands Ivory Rhapsody

My brother suggested "Curly Burly" - I told him to STFU :p

You know that if you put a poll up with IMA MARSHMALLOW on Chaz, that one WILL be chosen, right? :D
