How it is a have about 20 clickers but can never seem to find one?

Trained last night, set clicker down and now I can't find it. No matter what I do I can never find a stupid clicker. I apparently can't learn my lesson either.

I just ordered five more so I'm hoping if I stash them around the house I'll have one 2/10 times I want one.

I have one that clips to my car keys.

Too bad I can't find those half the time either....
This!! Also, I found the more that I have the more I tend to lose them. I have one and that way I make an extra effort to keep track of it because I can't be like "oh well, can't find that one, lets go find another!!". I actually had my last one for 5 years until I was using it the other day and the button fell off mid-course. That and I "steal" them from work all the friggin time. I think last week I had to return 4 clickers to my boss, she tsk-tsk'd me.

I only have one so I keep good track of it. It goes back in the bowl with the grooming scissors when not in use.

HA! I found one!

I don't have a car so I don't have a set of Keys to clip it too or I would!

It's gnomes...or maybe gremlins...they randomly move your things!

It happens with pens here ;)

I keep them with wristbands on door knobs. lol same place I keep my hair ties! For some reason it helps.. I don't lose them as much since I have somewhere easy to stick them

I lost my clicker two weeks ago. Never went out and got another one, so I've just been using my voice instead of a clicker.

I usually put it with the leashes, but for some reason I placed it somewhere else and can't seem to find it!

I always tell myself that everyone that uses clickers has this problem. I try to always have at least one or two in my gear bag, a couple in the main 'dog drawer' and then the rest scattered throughout the house. Yet it still takes me forever to find one when I need it.

I used to just have one clicker...and then I left it on the coffee table and Pig chewed it up. I've stockpiled the things ever since.

I have at least 20. Probably more. Just about every week at class I wind up having to borrow one. They clearly grow legs and walk away.

I gave up on clicker training simply because I couldn't keep track of the stupid clickers. LOL

But that's the story of my life.. I frequently put things places they shouldn't, and then I never find them again. Like an extension to my vacuum! It's not like my place is huge.. it really doesn't have anywhere to hide that I haven't checked.. and yet, I cannot find it. Do gremlins have a thing for vacuum attachments, too? lol
