Well, I may not have gotten the puppies I wanted, but nice hubby DID come home with this last week...

The ultimate in Dog Mobiles. For the record, taking 4 adult Belgian Malinois and 3 people in comfort to training requires something like this. We have a dog trailer, but it's NOT comfy for the dogs, I don't like it.

The last row of seats will come out, and crates will go in.

And below, I finally understand why my Caravan is a MINI van. I will smoosh it with the Monster Van!!! :rofl1:

Sigh, I still wanted the puppies.

I was driving a Nissan mini truck that got 17-18mpg, so this is not much worse.
The transmission on the Caravan is kaput. But even with that, we had to take ALL seats out, so I could fit 4 dogs, but only two people. So we needed to take TWO vehicles on training trips, or even just to training. BIG waste of gas.

Oh- and the crate behind the minivan in a 300, it is for a whippet NOT a big dog. We take the Malinois in 500s to training because, well, we have BIG Malinois.

"Big Malinois" is relative until you meet Riley :rofl1:

Love the van! We will probably end up with some sort of van down the line too despite me saying I would never have one lol!

My agility instructor drives an identical van (same color even!). She has taken out all the seats and built in shelving in the back instead, and regularly has 6+ crates back there. You're right, it's the ultimate dog vehicle!

We had a van just like that when I was growing up, only instead of three people and four dogs it was two adults and five kids (with or without a dog or two in tow). I loved it. It was a great van.
