Well I'm home. I'm feeling down like I usually do after an awesome adventure but sharing some photos on here is easy enough so i'll do that for you all. I'm nice like that. The photos i took at the speciality will come once I go through them all.

Look! No dogs! This is from Burrard St. Bridge.

K with his bumper, Sarah's little cousin thought it made his shadow look like a unicorn.

We went to a music festival that was super awesome and busy and went on for blocks and blocks!

See? Goes on forever!

This made me giggle. There was a whole row of "Post No Bills" with pictures of famous "Bills" pasted on.

Gyp!

Vancouver is SUPER dog friendly so we saw tons.

Good doggies. We put them in down stays in that little corridor while we watched the bands and they just chillaxed there watching the world go by and people kept coming by to snap photos on their cell phones and pet them. It was so funny!

There were surprisingly few Pugs, but Izzie met this handsome dude.

"Call me, maybe"

There was a super charismatic dancing hot dog (with ketchup and mustard backup dancers).

I love this place because people are so happy and free and just danced and totally loved us taking pictures.

Izzie thought the dancing hot dog was pretty weird...

Urban Puglet sleeps.

The urban Flat coat is pretty zonked too.

Gyp demanding she gets to go in the ocean RIGHT NOW!

Cute 13 year old JRT on the dog beach

Oh yeah, the pug learned how to swim.

Like a little otter.

She was a brave little puggy!

Shake shake shake!

Shake your booty

Hey there K-man

Can't say swimming is her favourite thing to do...

"Can we get out of this wet stuff now?"

"Fine i'll just swim to the shore"

The real swimming dogs

Okay mine got the hang of it too...

I love his face.

That's all for now, folks!

Great pictures! I look forward to seeing some from the Flatcoat specialty if you post them. Looks and sounds like you had fun! My one trip to Vancouver was probably one of the best I've had. I missed it so much when I came home. Although, because it was so seemingly dog friendly, I was sad that I didn't have a dog there with me.

Hurray for K! Traveling with a star, no wonder people were snapping photos. Was he JAMming at the music fest? ;)

I also <3 Gyp, and SwimmerPug is excellent lol. Glad you had a great trip, and hope you recover soon.

And so what's the FCR overdose verdict? Yay or Nay? Lol

Oh a very big YAY! The dogs are awesome, the people are awesome and so friendly (like their dogs haha). I'm so proud of Kaleb too, he did so well!
YAY!

And yes it's always fun when you win and win BIG! ;)

And I agree the FCR community rocks :)

You're so lucky you were here in the few days it was warm..It's been raining non-stop for the last 2 days and it's down to 15C (60F) degrees today. Freezing my butt off! It's going to be less than 20C (68F) for the next 2 weeks...:( Most people are putting on jackets and jeans instead of shorts!

Love the photos! Izzie is so adorable and I'm totally in love with Gyp!

ETA: It's not as dog friendly here as you might think! Our area recently has been reported to the AC 3 times for off leash dogs so now they've checked licenses and fined people for having dogs off leash in the park 5 times in the last month that I've heard of. It really sucks because everyone uses a certain field for off leash dog activity if their dogs are friendly and in control. Usually just fetch but a bunch of people have been fined now and now the park is completely empty *sigh*

I'm always weirdly surprised that you have a pug that wants to do things. My buddy's pug thinks getting up on the couch counts as his exertion for the day!

First, I LOVE Vancouver. Visited four years ago and would love to go back.

Great pictures; all the dogs are gorgeous and look like they're having fun. :)
