A superbig photodump from the last month or so...

Like much of the country we had a heatwave...which meant hose time. Mira is my hose-loving dog and she has two modes:

Mode #1: Diffused Spray Nirvana

Mode #2: JET STREAM ATTACK MODE!

Webby said "No hose for me, plz. Thnx"

Brie practiced her feline apathy. I'm not sure she needs more practice but hey who am I to judge.

Webby was devoted to watching holiday parties in the neighborhood. The window sill is the perfect height for a chin-rest...all the best for hours of manning the observation post.

And then Mira had a birthday and turned 3! We celebrated by getting up really early and heading to the docks before the heat-wave-crazed crowds swarmed the place. She entered her third year of life in her usual style ;)

And got to play with her favorite holee roller...the medium blue one usually reserved for training.

Strike a pose

Kim's feeling much better but we're not out of the woods yet. Well she's out of the woods here. Or trees. I mean we're...yeah you know what I meant.

Back to her usual naughtiness (Um Kim we know you're there. That hiding place is not really as stealthy as you think it is...)

And creeper herdiness

And getting photobombed by her sister

Group shot of the two hooligans. They were hoping I'd throw something retrieveable but Kim's still not allowed to run so that wasn't going to happen. They were unconvinced. I was just happy that Kim was stretching out and using her body naturally again.

Webster spent most of the yard time on my lap. The only picture I got of him was this totally awkward one...in which he was running into my lap lol.

But later Webby decided to demonstrate his perching skills in hopes he would earn a cookie. He got his cookie. Mira observed...

And decided she wanted a cookie too! But she couldn't climb on the status or it would tip...so she tried again with just her front half...sorry...no cookie for that...

So she thought about it then shimmied her back end up while preventing the statue from falling over...lol.

Yeah she got her cookie <grin>

Speaking of cookies...this is Mira's little half-sister (picture taken by breeder, not me!) who will be coming to stay with us this fall for about four months for early training, socialization, and introduction-to-the-world. It's going to be a blast and I'm really looking forward to it. This is her at 5-6 weeks, during her first introduction to a bird wing.

All done!

Mira is perfection. I love her build and I love that everything she does is done with such enthusiasm. Kim is looking as beautiful as ever, too. And Webster and those ears still make me laugh! He's so adorable.

Thanks all :)

Regarding Webster's extreme cuteness: Just remember that puppies are so incredibly cute so you don't kill them. Nature had to extend Webster's extreme cuteness into adulthood for the same reason ;) Naughty naughty genius dog!

Kim is doing much much better, thankfully. We went to the lake today for a combined Exercise-Mira/Rehab-Kim/Swimify-Webster session and she seems to really be moving freely despite easing her off the anti-inflammatories and such. Sooo happy to see her happy again.

Mira is just a bundle of happiness and enthusiasm. I can hardly believe she's three already. Where has all that time gone!?

And I'm very excited to bring home Da Cookie next month. Everything I see of her points to her being a high energy, fearless, think-as-we-go kind of girl. We are going to have a LOT of fun :)

P.S. Sorry for the long delay between photo threads. I have to save up get enough pictures so I don't get yelled at by Linds :p

Your dogs all seem to compliment each other so nicely. And, wonderful pictures as always! :)
This, x 2.

Can't pick a favorite photo, but I especially love the one of Webby Watch Dog, and the picture him on his bed... and the one of Mira diving + backing up.

What a great set of pics! Everybody is looking good :)

Good work getting up on that statue, Mira! :rofl1:

Webster and Morgan can be chinrest buddies. LOL! All the windowsills facing the front of the house are perfect chin height. They are all very well used. :D

Hey! I don't yell at you! I politely demand. Nicely. Without any pressure.

....ok, well can you blame me? I love your dogs! And I love those pictures sooo much. Web just cracks me up and Kim is so full of joy, life and trouble (I'm so happy she's feeling better) and Mira, well Mira is the definition of lovely and fun.
