Glad you took the time to help them out.

I can't really say leaving a dog unsupervised for several minutes counts as an oops though. Dogs are pretty determined and GSD's and Sibe's are both known for barging through, over, under, etc. whatever to get what they want... I dunno, I'm also the weirdo who never leaves her dogs loose unsupervised a yard, no matter how well fenced. *shrug*

They also didn't leave the dog in the yard. The pet sitter does. Unfortunately, I doubt they knew or had control over what the pet sitter was doing.

They are so cute!!! :) Your puppy is going to be a big handful, but I'm sure he will be an awesome dog. I know a GSD x Sibe and he's a wonderful, intense working dog. I hope you have a job lined up for him! Props for helping raise the litter and ensuring that they go to good homes.

I honestly think that Fozzie's Dad could have been a GSD x Sibe. The mix is fairly common around here (called Gerberian Shepskies lawl!), and everyone asks if he's part GSD! Look at this dog, he's like Fozz with long legs.

As far as the BYB debate... OP did not create this litter, she helped raise them and gave them a better chance at a happy life! The owner sounds like they're responsible people who trusted a pet sitter who made a mistake, and will probably be hypervigilant about never making that mistake again.

Congrats :) The pup is really really cute! Accidents happen and I'm glad these pups are healthy and finding good homes!
