I'm not entirely sure if I see mastiff at all. The wrinkles sorta make you want to think you're seeing mastiff, the ears and the general look...

But I'm honestly more inclined to say bloodhound or Shar Pei. The body alone just makes me think fat Lab. Maaayyybe Bullmastiff body, but still...not sure.

I think I'm still seeing bloodhound...not mastiff. Not even neo. Something about that head is...odd. The nose, the stop, and the laid back forehead.

Yeah she's called him a bloodhound x shar pei for a while. Every shot I see of him I see a different breed. His nose padding really thick like a shar pei to me.

Also, not sure what part of Georgia he came from, but there's at least one shady Great Dane breeder around Atlanta. I don't remember what city she came from my my sister purchased a great Dane puppy about three years ago (she doesn't know better and refuses to be educated, so not my fault) for three hundred dollars. Her Dane has terrible elbows and toes in quite badly.

Definitely see bloodhound in him now too. I'm used to seeing them with the saddle, but if another breed took that away could totally see that. Bloodhounds are not all that uncommon around here in the south. Could definitely be a dane/bloodhound mix.

As a side note, autocorrect wants to correct bloodhound to bloodshed :p

I agree he's probably (statistically more likely to be) a Shar-Pei/Dane cross or something to that effect, but he looks like a near clone of a Fila/Shar-Pei cross I used to know...and honestly two breeds I hope never to see crossed again.

There is something in there besides dane and bloodhound. The ears are way to small to be a combo of those two breeds. I would say possibly dane/sharpei or bloodhound/sharpei mix.

I really see Shar Pei. But now that people are saying Bloodhound, I think Bloodhound would also be a very good guess. I think it is the ears that make my say Shar Pei moreso than Bloodhound - they're short! And both Danes and Bloodhounds have big ol' floppy ears.

If I were guessing, I'd say Shar Pei/English Mastiff. Maybe throw in some Bloodhound. But I really see Shar Pei.
