The province of Alberta decided it was jealous of Ontario I guess and mother nature is providing us with humidity and nasty temps all week. This weekend was humidex of 35 and tomorrow is going to be 40! Then in the 35-40 range the rest of the week. Just kill me now. Might not be as hot as the heat wave out there but holy carp when you're not used to it it is sofa king uncomfortable! I shudder to think of the sheer amount of boob sweat I'm about to endure this week.

Did you get the hail last week? I saw it on the news and LOLed.

ETA: Oh yah, and sorry about the heat. I wish you just took it from us though, rather than copying us... a break from the heat would have been nice LOL

We got some gnarly hail in the last couple weeks, but I think the biggest I saw was dime sized. Still big but not big enough to do any real damage. Other than that we got hail that built up so much it looked like snow.

Ugh, so even Canada has this **** heat wave going on?

I looked up 40C and it's 104F. That's pretty much how it's been every day here for over a week and I'm sooo sick of it. Yesterday we had a heat index of 115.

I mean, it gets hot here in the summers, but let's not go over 100F, kthx.

Thankfully it's supposed to be in the 80's this week.

Thank you for the temp conversion-104 is woof. The heat finally broke here. The newsguy said a heatwave is like three days over 90, we had five. Still plenty warm but there's a breeze!!!! AMAZING

How are your igloos staying frozen?!

Our high today is 90... it's CRAZY that you're having hotter weather in Alberta. At least we're equipped for it down here. Everything is air conditioned here... I pretty much dread being outside, though, until early September.

I definitely feel for you. I hate when it's hot and humid! I've been wishing for fall for a few weeks now.

I've got central air conditioning at work and home which helps a lot, but when I go to my boyfriends house to spend the weekends it seems that nature has a habit of making it hotter and more humid than usual. To top things off, his parents have air conditioning upstairs (that they turn off at night) and all he has in the basement is a window fan that doesn't cool anything off. It's torture!

Well here in Ontario ours are made of special space age snow, it can withstand heat up to 45... Though today it's a nice sunny 24! Not quite the 20 I'd hoped for but cool enough I don't have to worry about my Igloo!!

We always get like this in the summer time, so we're pretty well equipped for it... Stores and everything are air conditioned, we have neighborhood pools, etc.

It's not the igloo I'm worried about, it's the polar bear... I feel bad making it take me to work in this heat! ;)

I'm enjoying the heat here after the cold winter. It has been in the 80s, 90s, and close to 100 lately. It's really nice weather.

Our heat wave broke on Saturday, after about a week of miserable weather. Thank goodness too, because I had to be in a parade that day. Would have melted to death otherwise!

Looks like we'll be creeping back up into the 90s though for the weekend. Awesome.

I could swap it for 14 to 16 all summer, with clouds and general grey dullage?

This is our summer. Granted, 20 here is viewed as a hot day :D but its been the wettest, dullest summer on record (officially).
