The name that Beandoggle thread.

I named Bean after astronaut Alan Bean who was the fourth person to walk on the moon. I also like the reference to Bean in Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game books.

I had been intending to name him
Orion Caught A Ride With The Moon (lyrics from "Tear in Your Hand" by Tori Amos)

then it occurred to me that
Orion Take To The Sky (again, Tori Amos)
would be rather nice as well, and less to write on entry forms.

(Steve's registered name is Orion Never Seen Blue, again with the Tori Amos)

From an Ender's Game standpoint,
Orion The Enemy's Gate Is Down
isn't bad. I like the literary nerdiness of it.

Someone suggested
Orion Shoot The Moon
which is a nice nod to the gambling theme of this litter

I love Take To The Sky, Shoot the Moon, and Go For Launch all three. Though the superstitious sports person in me thinks "go for launch" might be asking for trouble... I gotta admit I'm quite partial to sticking to the Tori Amos theme.
