I see something like this.

http://wyoming.craigslist.org/pet/3116412210.html

And then I go, well, maybe I do want a Border Collie... Seriously, I am so freaking indecisive it is insane. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have flip flopped from ACD to BC and then I found the Koolie and was hooked. Except for the fact that they aren't in the U.S. and it could be a long time before that dream comes true... So do I go with an ACD or BC until that time comes?

I emailed the lady who is rehoming her. From what she says, the dog seems to be great. Says they are rehoming because of their job, but I think it is energy level personally. Talk of a visit with the dog next week. Debating on whether to follow through or not. What do you all think?

What a beautiful dog!

I'm always going to suggest giving a dog in need a second chance if it sounds like a good fit, so that would be my route if you're ready for a dog right now.

You sound a LOT like me most of my breed loves are overseas and I have many "types" I like. I'd say meet her if you feel you may be ready for another and take it from there........post more pictures when you get her ;)

I was hoping Linds would pop her head in here and say that all of Traveler's tests came back good and they were gonna breed within two years... Because Koolie's just match everything that I am looking for in a dog.

I will go meet her. If it works out, I may be adding another dog to the sig. Originally Hubby and I planned on no more than 3 dogs... But maybe two for me and two for him will go just fine. ;)

:p I haven't had him health tested yet so I can't tell you they all come back good. And I still don't have a time frame for breeding. So sorry! No help here!

But go meet her and maybe you'll find she matches everything you are looking for in a dog!

Dang you Linds! :p Well, we eventually need some testosterone around, so a Koolie boy would most certainly be welcome at any point in my life. I honestly don't care if we end up with four dogs. That just means bigger kayaks and a bigger backseat. :)

Going to see the pup next week. She is four hours away... Gonna be quite the drive. Might see if a friend wants to go with me since DH will be at work. Or is there anyone in Wyoming that wants to transport her down here? Haha.
