Soo..... Jenv101 and I realized that there are SO many Chaz dogs in season right now. It's actually pretty hilarious, in a sad way.

Here are mine:

Miss I-Came-In-Because-I-Was-Entered-In-A-CAT-Test-And-I-Like-To-****-Off-Mom-And-Waste-Entry-Fees...

Miss I-Came-In-Because-Kaylee-Said-It-Was-Fun-And-I-Was-Gullible-And-Believed-Her-And-Now-I-Know-She's-A-Liar-And-I-Have-To-Wear-Stupid-Britches-And-Why-Does-KAYLEE-Get-Fancy-Shimmery-Britches-And-I-Get-Ones-From-Walmart....

Mitsu is. Her first heat too, so it's a big deal lol. I need to buy her some nice Britches instead of the diapers I had to run out and get. She looks pretty cute though in Elmo diapers.

Please don't curse me. None of ours are in. Now they're going to start, and it's going to be your fault.

*points to the testicles* Bwahahaha, boys are better ;)
Unless they're housed anywhere remotely close to a bitch in season, and turn into whining, howling, pacing, jaw-chomping, tooth-chattering drool machines that forget basic functions conductive to survival like eating and sleeping. :p

Oh I hope this is a curse, Fiona needs to come into heat like NOW. Apparently because she is a crazy anorexic racecar, she won't come into heat. We have to get her up to 30 lbs. She's 27. UGH. Sometimes my vets make me feel like I am a horrible dog mom, and act like I am starving my dogs. I swear, I'm not! They get Orijen, and a lot of it. :(

Amber, the lab I watch, is in season. She apparently came in on Tuesday, the day before she came to my house. She doesn't go home until the 8th or 9th so she'll be in standing heat then, right? One other time I watched her as she was just coming out.

It really puts a hamper on all the fun things I wanted to do with her! Although, we still got to go and do some things at the field dog day!

It's too late... When it comes to heat cycles Chaz is evil! Sloans first heat took forever to come so I asked about it on Chaz and literally the next day she came in. Then I asked something about timing, she came in. This time I was smart, I said nothing, I saw two FB Chaz friends dogs in diapers and looked to the floor to find both of my males snacking on Sloans naughty bits, looked at the floor, looked in horror and yup, heat.

Lucky me. I'd totally bail Chaz but I'm sure it's too late. Lol

A little morning story to reflect the topic. Sloan is in a diaper, she's in heat. This morning I ask, "did she poop?" Denis goes, "yeah, sure, she was out before for a bit." Sloan is kinda squatting at my feet but I assume it's her being uncomfortable.

I follow dogs out to see how much poop is outside, is it worth it to clean now or after training, and there is Sloan trying to poop with a diaper on. I go, "omg, Sloan baby, come here!" She comes over and I take it off, roll it up, look at Denis and he goes okay, "dump it out and put it back on, we have to go."

I almost lost it. Luckily he saved his life with a smirk and was joking but I wouldn't put that past him. Oye... We're so not ready for kids. lol

All three of our girls are.
Well, they are just coming out now and Quinn is starting to behaved liek a normal dog again but still.

Quinn and Mac were both 4-6months overdue and both FINALLY came in on the same day, 3 days later they dragged Poppy in for the first time.
At its worst we were crate and rotating all 4 dogs. Quinn and Mac don't get along, Quinn is a snarky, hormonal BIATCH when she's on heat so she was only out with Poppy under supervision and Poor Buster spent so much time crated just to stop the girls from trying to take advanage of him every time they saw him. Poor old man didn't know what hit him.

Helped me decide that this is Quinn's last heat though, so much hassle. It was only a couple of days ago she started to act like herself again.

As for Chaz's effects, Quinn was 14 months before she came in for the first time and I was just thinking about starting a thread about how long I should wait for her second one (she was about 4 months overdue) when she came in a day or two later.

I am so hoping we avoid the heat cycle this time. LoLa is scheduled to be spayed the 9th.

My male doesn't tell me when my bitch is coming in. He doesnt change at all. Thank God. I hate whiney annoying dogs.

Di and Mindy are both spayed... I am hoping Siren waits a loooong time as I don't want to spay her until she's mature but don't want to deal with a heat unless I have to.... I don't miss that from my breeding days at all... The few terrier fights I have had, have been nearly all when one of the bitches were in heat..
