I would adore sitting at a desk for 8 hours doing data entry. That is like, my dream job LOL I'm going to school for accounting.
Come work with us!

I love my job right now. Not what I ever thought I'd do but it's fun most days. I have a great team (even though we just got shuffled for the third time this year again). There's always things to learn, new software. Been learning how to load some of the geophysics stuff lately, which is a branch out for me. I think I would be bored if it was traditional database stuff where you load the same type of data all day every day, but it varies so much from cataloging our physical samples to managing our databases to problem solving to making maps and presentations. I can never tell you what I will be doing any given week beyond the basic weekly duties and reports I compile and send out. I also really enjoy being able to work with other people and be social (since I'm not so much outside of work).

I never thought I'd like a cube job at all. Some days it sucks but most days it's pretty interesting.

True that! I've had two jobs like that so far, problem with both of them was that I started at like 8am each time and I had such a hard time staying awake!! If I could work a 11-7pm or 1-9pm it would be the ideal job for me!

I've been working food service retail since right out of high school, and trying to sit at a desk for more than a couple hours is almost impossible for me now. We have manager meetings that last 4 hours and I seriously can hardly stand it.
I have to be in at 7 am. You do get used to it but it's the only downside to my job.

I am also a bit ADD and am ALWAYS running around and walking around our floor a lot. I am the kind of person that tends to not use our communicator and phone so much though so I just go walk to someone else's office if I have a question. They've also situated all our plotters on the opposite side of the building so I have to walk a ways.

My dream job would involve writing or art in some way. Ideally I'd like to write fiction from home and be with my children, or do freelance illustration from home and make enough to live on. I'd be really thrilled with a concept art job with a game company or copywriting for Nintendo or Amazon or something like that though.

I would hate hate hate anything in the adult industry. I'd rather live in a cardboard box under a bridge than do anything along those lines. Even working in an adult shop would make me soooo uncomfortable. I'd rather work on a silage farm or shoveling raw sewage.

I hate, hate, hate mornings with a passion.... but I would soooo love a "normal" 8-5 job or something! Not the schedule my body wants to be on lol but I hate working into the evening, I never get anything done then!

I think I would love a sit-on-your-butt desk job lol. Generally I like "doing" things and not just sitting around but sometimes BUSY jobs just get too exhausting.

This. I normally work 1-9:30 PM at my current job, and it's perfect - it fits the schedule my mind/body goes for. I much prefer getting errands/housework/homework done BEFORE work, because when I get home (whether it's at 10 PM or 4 PM) all I want to do is relax.

My mom works 7:30-3:30 and I have no clue how she does it - I would be fighting sleep for half of the workday.

Most desired: Police officer or university professor. My father's a professor so he'd probably really love if I went that route.

This! I'd be so uncomfortable. And I've worked retail before and absolutely hated it. I'm an awful salesperson and hate pressuring/trying to convince people to buy things!
