Durian smells. Mosquitoes are nasty!! My lower legs look like they've been used as a pin cushion! Think it was all from the 1st night! Feckers.

We finally stopped raining. We had some awful flooding in the northern part of the state... I don't know what the situation up there is like now, but we're sure drying out where I am!

Dry as a bone here. We are in serious need of some rain, or we're going to have problems with sweet corn, and that's a tragedy. D=

It is raining here, thankfully. All the hot dry weather was great for getting a cut of hay in, but the pastures were getting pretty crispy.

Tinder dry here, some rural communities are canceling their Fourth of July fireworks because of the fire danger. Just hope individual idiots don't start a wildfire with their backyard celebrations.

One of the gals at work had her mother call today to let her know they lost their corn crop on the family farm. :(

We've had so much rain we might have problems with our corn up here too! I can't deal with sub-par Taber corn!

How about we trade weather for a bit?

The weather has been pretty disappointing here in terms of heat and sunshine but today was nice enough (still did not feel like summer).

It really would be nice if the weather would spread out some! It seems places can only get too much or not enough rain!

We need rain desperately, but have a week of 100 degree days, no storm clouds in the sky and Colorado and other states that are on fire! Then you have the places that are flooded!

Dry as a bone here. And I PRAY for rain, its that bad.
But I hope as these places flooding and all these fires get under control soon, and no one gets seriously injured.

It's raining here in my town in Queensland, Australia and has been since Saturday. No floods or anything though.
