In preparation to start agility (possibly lol) me and Art have started brushing up on a few of his obedience cues.

I figured the best one for us to work on at this point would be attention (looking at me) and recalls.

Any other suggestions on things to work on?

This would be in addition to still continuing to work on seeing other dogs and people and not reacting lol

Thanks!

Today we went to the park and worked on a bit of his sit/stay's and down/stays from a distance with distractions (a few people and dogs walking by, not many). He did really really well, though he absolutely HATES laying down outside, especially if it's at all wet or dirty.

We also worked on his recalls. I brought him into the off-leash area to work on his recalls. There wasn't many dogs because it's an ugly day, but I worked on speeding recalls and fast turn arounds no matter what he was doing. He did pretty well. At one point he was running straight to another dog, I said my recall and he did a quick 180 and booked it to me! ^_^ It's a good start, the test will be in an area he isn't so comfortable with. I'm planning on going to a new park at one point to practice there.

So all in all it's a great start!
