Riley came into heat today. Let the count down begin.

We will be keeping one and have a full waiting list for up to 8 pups.

I expect plenty of pictures of Papillon puppies after they're born, up until they're in their new loving homes.. because I may be biased, but Papillon puppies are the most adorable puppies out there. :)

Sorry if you've mentioned this somewhere else, but who are you breeding her to? :)

She is going to be bred to my male. She was bred to be bred to him. He is an outcross of British and Australian lines and she is full British. We need the new blood in the gene pool.

I will dig out their pedigrees and scan them later.

^ That.

We just got back from the vet. Patellas look great. Elbow score great and we got both their DRA tests back about 3 months ago so alls a go!

We have a nice covering plan and I have a great team on my side here. I wish my breeder didn't live 20 hours away. :(

They're not that bad. Actually I think they're pretty easy comparatively. My friend with the litter of ten working line GSDs that latch on like ticks from 5 weeks on is the one I feel for.

Omg Trav and Riii babies! I want one! I was talking to the other groomers at work today, and they all named small dogs as their favorites. I was the only one who named a bunch of big dogs (or big dogs with small legs), and I said the ONLY small breed I would want is a Papillon. They all said Papillons are grumpy, bitchy biters! WTF? Every Pap I know is a joy. Maybe they just can't speak Pap. Then I said, well they're like small Border Collies, and they all agreed, saying BCs are weird too. They all prefer lazy, compliant Shih Tzus  whatev. I want a Pap.

Sending romantic vibes to the Pap couple...

Paps are no where near miserable biters! Stooooopid people! LOL

Trav keeps checking but so far no real interest. She should be fertile by Monday or Tuesday so I'm not concerned for now.

She, in the mean time, being a total trollip.

People really are stupid!!! They cannot handle a dog with brains. Dogs shouldn't be robots, they should have personalities!

Does Trav need some viagra? LOLz... try slow jams and candles.
