Maddex, Sit and Down!

He has them down pat, with or without treats - there is some hesitation on down but that is because of his puppy attention span, but he knows the commands well enough so I thought I'd share!!

Can I just say I think your puppy is freaking adorable?

Aw thanks I love him, he is really well mannered for his age!

He has gotten very good at sleeping on his bed at night, and has even got to the point where he thinks of his bed as a place for all his toys during the day! Pretty tidy for a puppy. That and the two baths he has had (it has been really muddy and he has a knack for finding the mud puddles in the backyard even when it is just to go out and potty) he is really well behaved. I'm super proud of him!

You should hear him, lol he really just plops down when we ask for lay!

It is kind of cute though I hope he gets a bit more graceful before he gets older or it is going to be a BOOM instead of a PLOP

Yoshi will hit the floor like that and it sounds like it hurts some times x.x

He looks pretty smart though I think he'll figure it out way faster than my dog! lol

Oh I know! When I hear it I flinch because I would only imagine it'd be uncomfortable, I know if I plopped down anywhere I'd take a lot longer to get back up.

By the way, do you plan to train him in any sports or anything? He'd probably do very well!

We're looking at agility, I've always been interested in it and from what I've seen Border Collies can do very well. Someone else mentioned rally-o, we plan on doing quite a bit of investigation as well as try to find places we can get more information!
