I picked up an AWESOME chair off Craigslist for $20 and Dreizehn has decided that it is the perfect size for him. He's never really been allowed on furniture but I figured it was okay with this one chair. I'd say he's pleased with my decision but we all know that he was going to get to use the chair either way.

And some others from the past week or so...

God, Ruthless is just so stunning and has the best smile ever. And the chair pictures were adorable! I love when dogs latch onto something like that.

Ruthless looks like a corgi with legs, kinda....hmm.... *want*

Also, how do you pronounce D's name? Is it Dreezin? That's how I pronounce it in my head, but I could be way off :p

I could try to awkwardly type it out phonetically... instead I'm just going to give you this link so that you can listen to it.

Those two are so adorable.

I like his "bed"; at least it's cheaper than buying an actual dog bed.

Dreizhen looks so proud of his chair!!! LMAO, I love his expressive ears. He's a hunk. :) I am amazed that you pronounce his name like that. Are you German? I saw him on the Caligirl FB a long time ago... she's a client of mine! I always loved his name.

Ruthless is adorable... I want an Icelandic Sheepdog! You capture your dog's individual personalities so well.

Thank you! Ruthie is an absolute sweetheart. She's full of spunk and is ALWAYS smiling. She's is so fun to photograph.

I am not German (at least not much) and don't really know any German other than his name. I read a story when I was younger about a doberman named Dreizehn to saved his girl's life so that's how I came up with it. Then I found out that my puppy was going to be one of thirteen which made the name seemed perfect. I figured if I was going to pick a German name I was going to learn how to pronounce it right so I spent days listening to it over and over online and from my friend (who is German) until I had it down pretty good. I love his name and I don't regret picking a ridiculously difficult name but I get a lot of teasing from my parents for it, lol. I have taught him to respond to "Thirteen" for people who don't want to pronounce it.

I will say, I've never met another dog with his name!
