Radar and the Radioactive Lake

Radar LOVES to swim when we are hiking or at the conservation area, but in Lake Ontario? Forget about it. I don't know if its the size of the lake or the fact that there are children holding icecream and other dogs everywhere that are distracting him, but he gets in paddles in one circle to cool off and thats it! So here are some pictures of him not swimming.

There is a pitbull over there. I want to play with it. I sit nice you let me play with it?

It does make you wonder what spooks them about some things! He's totally adorable, spooked or not though

Last time I had him there it was wavy, so I figured that was why he would not go in. But it was dead calm yesterday. I have had him try to throw himself off of the side of 25 foot embankment when hiking to get to a river but not even the power of cheese would get him in that lake!

LOL - so funny how they are particular about certain things.

I loooveee Radar and every time I see him I think of how great a Westie would look with Jackson and makes me want one, haha! He's a great looking little guy.

Its funny because Jackson is one of my favorite chaz dogs!
Also you should totally get a westie!!! I never ran into westies where I used to live but living it the city I meet them all the time. We are now up to four in a two block radius and have nightly play dates with at least one usually and they are all awesome, active and solid tempered little dogs.

Maybe there's something in there he knows about and you don't . . .

I am so used to perfectly coiffed dogs that his shaggyness used to drive me nuts! I have learned to like the scruff and settle for a cleanish and knot free dog.
