Today, the sunrise was at 6:31am, and the sun will set at 8:14pm.

One thing I loved about Ireland and Scotland was how late the sun sets at this time of year! I'm leaving for Nicaragua, and the sun sets at 6:04 which is SO early!

When I lived in Maine, it would start to get dark out at 4 something which I hated... the earliest the sun ever sets here is 5:30pm.

When is yours?

Sunrise: 5:20
Sunset: 8:59

I love the summertime, but wintertime sucks a big one in terms of daylight hours...

Sunrise was 5:20am and sunset is 8:59pm. Before I saw that link to the website I was thinking who gets up in time for sunrise.... Definitely not me :rofl1:

Where I used to live in Maine, the sunset in December is 3:56pm! I couldn't imagine it being like that here... I love my sun light!

6:08a for rising, 8:28p for setting, though it's actually still visibly light until 9p-ish.

haha I am more south than some of the American chazzers :p I dont' like the short days in the winter. But then who wants to be out in the winter lol. Xmas lights look better in the dark anyway. I will keep my short days to get my short nights in the summer. I love that its light till 10pm.

Not sure but it was still fairly light at 9.15 tonight, not bright, but still light enough to see. I love the long summer days, but I HATE the short winter ones.
