Last night we had a nice little campfire complete with hot dogs and s'mores. then of course the dogs had to RUIN it with a little scuffle over the hot dogs that were sitting on the table lol. No major booboos but Beezer got a small puncture on his front leg... a warning shot from Belle no doubt as she could have really laid into him if she wanted to.

This morning he was moaning and howling about it while I tried to take off the wrap so I called and cancelled my table at the market only to find out a few minutes later that Beezer is FULL of it and went outside running around the backyard like nothign was wrong. So I called back and reclaimed my table lol.

Market went well. Didn't make a ton of money or anything but I made some sales and turned a profit so that makes me happy.

Came home and spent the rest of the day playing in the backyard with hubby, Hanny and the beasts. Beezer is FINE. he spent the afternoon wrestling with Belle and rolling around in the grass.

going to have another little campfire tonight and then tomorrow is BAPTISM DAY!!!!!

Um, if the bite marks on my bicep are any indication, I'm going to go with yes... they are that similar. Notice I said bicep, I was not leaning down in any way, all 17.75" of her jumped up and grabbed my bicep enough to leave scratches. What was I doing at this time? Laying sod and ignoring her attempts to get me to throw her toy.
:rofl1: ahhhhh

This is our progress this weekend thus far. Rearrange the loft to make room for a dog crate and a dog treadmill. Put together said treadmill and begin use. Woot! (Well, after the obligatory posing photo)

Next is finishing the garage. In an effort to organize it we THRASHED it. We have a huge pile of to-trash and already put out a small pile of free-please take (which seems to be gone already) but we still have a total disaster zone in there.

Well my weekends over now but it was nice. I have another week off work before I go back so I could justify a lazy one. Today all I did was hang out at home and bake a couple of things (very unlike me) Quinn spent all day in the yard or crated with only one short training session so I'll be paying for that in the morning and better make up for it somehow.

Saturday was lovely - my mother and I took Quinn and Poppy on a "pet shop extravaganza!!!" we went to all three major pet stores around the coast that allow pets. They girls amazed me - apart from Poppy's pathetic attempts to entice every person, dog and especially child over to her by pathetically wagging her tail, whining and lying flat on the ground with her ears back she was very good. And Quinn who is usually too nervous to stand near a stranger took treats and even pats from lots of people. Was pretty relaxed nearly the whole time and even showed off some of her tricks. (I took her mainly to practice under distraction.) I think Poppy is good for her, she's much more relaxed when Poppy is obvisouly so happy to see everyone.
It did make us laugh when one of the staff we were talking to had being trying coats on Poppy (read: Poppy sprawled on her back in the middle of the store having various garments attached to her) and when she was done said "so she (Quinn) is the same but less crazy?" I think my brother and I actually laughed and he told her that Quinn was actually twice as crazy just better trained. Which was nice to hear after a couple of months old plenty of negativity towards her from most my family (though not really my brother)

Sorry for the novel - I was just beaming with both the girls yesterday. They were so well behaved and attracted a lot of good attention.

Weekend was stressful as allg et-out, but also good. We had a big nail trimming fundraiser at our store on Saturday for the local Catahoula rescue, we raised $484 which will finish payment for a very important surgery for a Catahoula burn victim. It gave me warm fuzzies, even though we were short-staffed by both of our volunteer trimmers and I had to man the store myself while my co-workers did trims during our second largest sales day ever!

Saturday night friends were over, which I was not originally happy about because I was dead exhausted, but then they fed me, helped me bathe Finn and clean the ferret cage. Then we went on a long walk, got ice cream, helped kids catch tadpoles and frogs along the river, and came home and watched Sucker Punch.

Yesterday was work, followed by a rather nasty complicated emotional meltdown. Oops. Then I came home and played Diablo III until I passed out.

Today we saw the Avengers (SO AWESOME) and tonight I'm meeting my co-workers to have an evening of hangouts. :)
