I'm about to have a mental breakdown.

I got tested yesterday and just am waiting to see if they call back. Everything else though is doing great and the doctor said I am one of the healthiest pregnant women he's ever worked with. Everything is going well and I got to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time.

They say everything happens for a reason and I certainly needed to be down in Vancouver. I guess my mother lied to all of us about how she was doing with her recovery from acoholism. I had a really rough night. She left my sister with me while we were visting my friend, showed up there totally drunk (she drove!) and then when I tried to get my stepdad to come pick her up she attacked him and ran off. Luckily she did get home safely but she has decided today she is going to treatment for a longer stretch (6 months instead of 3 weeks). My sister needs someone here for her so... as terrible as it is Tyler slept with hookers it was perfect timing for me to keep my sister safe and provide her with a safe place to be.

I have my own place on the 1st and looks like in a very short period of time I am going from having 1 toddler to a toddler, a newborn and a 12 year old kid. Wish me luck and strength. I am going to need it!

I am sending all the luck and vibes I can muster. You deserve all the happiness in the world. And you are a great mother.I fully believe things happen for a reason and it does really sound like your sister needs you right now.

I can't believe everything you've been through all at once. It must just feel surreal, however, it's obvious that in spite of your title you are not going to have a breakdown. You are staying really strong for everyone that needs you. And there are a lot of other strong women here who know what I am talking about when I tell you that one day it may kind of hit you all at once, and it could be a long time from now- but we'll be ready to listen and understand then, same as now.

...And incidentally, your former boyfriend is an ass. Also very, very stupid to do something that cost him you. He'll never find anything as good as what he threw away.

I need a good sleep. I spent the last two nights at my friend's house and because we both have toddlers I was not only waking up when my kid fussed at night, I woke up when I heard her's too! i am hoping tonight I just can get a good one.

On a brighter note my other ex and Briggs' father broke his foot. I know it's kind of silly to find it funny but he hasn't seen Briggs in six months so I feel like I'm allowed to chuckle at the idea. I was nervous to take the skytrain downtown incase I bump into him but now I can just run away 'cause his foot doesn't work.

Mwuhahaha.

Clearly, now is the time to invite him to go camping in bear-infested territory.
