I thought that most mexidogs had Xolo in them, or at least descendants from them.

Ya I didn't know that at all until recently which is what got me into looking into Xolos. A few people out here have asked me if Cricket is a coated Xolo and when I mentioned that to Sizzledog she told me that most Mexidogs are Xolo/Xolo mixes pretty much. I really want another dog at some point with similar temperament to Cricket which is a big part of why I started to look into them.

Now that I'm looking into them its crazy how many of them are built the way Cricket is and their temperament is so matched with hers.

Not sure why the second picture in my OP is so small. It didn't look small on my phone. I'll try to repost it.

Yep - from people I talked to that are "in" Xolos, they're basically from the same gene pool and were probably the same dog, at least during the time of Aztec and Mayan civilization. Xolos have just been taken and made into a "breed"... whereas Mexidogs are still out on the streets.
