So I just happened to be on their facebook page looking around, and saw that somebody had asked a question, saw Marshall's gave a VERY wrong answer, and had to reply. It made them backtrack, and they really didn't know what to say :lol-sign: The person then emailed me asking ME for advice. POINT FOR JESS :p

LOL basically, somebody asked if they could give their 5 months old ferret FerretLax, which is basically sugar. Marshalls said yes, 2-3 times a day for 7 days. That is basically a recipe for disaster (though they'd likely turn around and buy a new ferret, giving Marshall's more money!)

When I replied that 1-2X a week is plenty, they kept backtracking Everytime the person asked a new question

Marshall's is such a huge company that has branched out into products for a lot of other animals, their employees who answer the phones or reply to FB are often likely to be about as ferret knowledgeable as employees at your local chain petstore.

Their employees period are about as ferret knowledgeable as employees at a local chain pet store ;)

(though really, the employees at stores around here are actually quite knowledgeable)

Also, this wasn't their basic page. This was specific to their breeding ferrets, not the item or lab pet part. (those are different companies within the "Marshalls" brand) I've talked to them on the phone, and sadly, these ARE the "ferret knowledgeable" ones.
