I have never used the block feature on any forum. I would be too curious. It would never work for me. :p

I don't know if I've ever gotten into an argument on Chaz. I tend to not post a lot in the fire hydrant for the most part for some reason, and it seems most of the debate threads happen here. Often I'll multi quote something, type out a huge long response, and then just think "meh, it's not worth it" or "somebody already said it better" and delete it. I think I've typed out more responses to things than I've ever posted. I tend to try to avoid conflict on the internet. In real life, surprisingly, I'm more apt to defend something or stand up to someone eventhough I am more shy in person. Online, I just don't feel I need to most of the time. But even if I ever did get into something here, I wouldn't carry it out of that thread and chances are would not think poorly of the person I was disagreeing with. Disagreeing with somebody over something, even if it happens often, is not a determining factor in whether I like a person or not. I can't think of anybody but one person that I have a problem with here, and I don't think that person is even around anymore. I've never felt the need to block anyone. And it wouldn't work for me anyway even if I wanted to... I also would be too curious.

A few weeks ago I was really irritated by something on another dog board, and did voice my opinion. Not surprisingly, a lot of people disagreed with me. But I don't hate those people. I just had a different opinion than a lot of them on that particular topic. I think some of them might not like me now, but that's their problem.

For the most part I don't hold grudges. There's really only two people I can think of (maybe three) who have really pissed me off. One of which seems to act rude to everyone so I don't take it too personally, one of which who has really upset me/hurt my feelings before, but I forgive them. The first I would say I dislike, the other I just don't agree with, but like.

If everybody who argued on Chaz disliked each other, then none of us would be friends. It's just arguing.

The only things that've caused me to dislike someone on Chaz were acts of blatant disregard for the lives of the dogs I had grown to love over the forum. That lady who owned Binn so many years ago? I would STILL give her a piece of my mind and a piece of my fist.

I agree with the first sentence and especially the next ones. For many (of course not all) that's just old forum history, not much of a big deal. I will never forget that, I will never stop worrying about that dog, and I know many others feel the same.

Yeah there's a couple people from a long time ago I can't say I have any good feelings towards. Even thinking back just makes me sad/mad.

I've never used it here, but on the rare occasions I have on other forums it's been when someone is just getting on my nerves so much it's distracting. Even then it's always been temporary, just until I've cooled off.

I try to steal clear of debate threads but I do read them often.

I honestly try not to offend anyone which I think is why I don't post that much, I get very passionate about some topics.

But the second I click out of a debate thread it's over and left behind and I don't carry feelings over to other threads.

If you search for Binn or the Gentle Giants Rescue on here, I'm sure you'll find the story. Basically, everyone here begged her not to give Binn, her Irish Wolfhound, to the GG rescue.... Lots of help was offered, but she still gave him up there. He's still at this horrible place. I guess it's too convenient not to keep an intact Irish Wolfhound :(

And I am sure he is still unable to walk, never having gotten the treatment for his condition, and being used to breed yet more genetically unsound IWs. The thought of the fear, despair and pain that sweet puppy has lived with because of that selfish, self-centered, lying, vapid . . . well, you get the idea.

There was also a St. pup that she did gods know what with . . .

And we had people lined up to take Binn.

Oh, I also love how she was spotted online talking about how she was tricked by GGR. So many people told her to keep Binn away from there!
Sparks, I noticed that too. I was just on their site a few weeks ago looking for him. . .

Awful as it sounds, I hope he isn't, that he is free.
So do I. :(

BTW. . .thanks for letting us talk about him. There have been a couple of threads that popped up about him and they were shut down pretty fast. I think it's healthy if we, as a community are free to mention him because we, as a community, watched him be sentenced needlessly to a life of suffering.

The reason we shut the threads down is because there were people trying to get him out (among them was BP <3) and we didn't want any attention being brought to him. The GG people had been keeping an eye on what was being done here and had already thwarted a rescue attempt because of it. :(

I have prayed for this for years, as morbid as it seems. I loved that dog without even having met him, and I will never forget or forgive those involved in putting him in that hellhole.

Not Chaz specific as I haven't been here very long, or super active, but if I hated every one I ever argued with I would hate so many people.

The only time I've hated people I've met on forums is when I've gotten to know them personally and found out they suck. I ended up working with the worst bitch I have ever met in my life because of dog forums, but I assure you I didn't hate her for arguing with me. It is hard to hate someone so feeble and useless.

Meh. I don't hate anyone, not even in real life. Sure, some things get on my nerves a little, but its always because I know that someone else is being hurt because of it. I dislike talking in general, or putting out my opinion, and I've always been more of a listener, so I just stalk all of ya'll and read all the debate threads.

AWESOME!! LOL what was I doing??!?
Dream Fran better be awesome.
It was pretty epic. It involved a temporal loop, a sonic, and literally losing track of time, as in if time were a train track, we jumped the track, we derailed :rofl1:
