Or maybe its just my phone already has those filters and more..... Is that literally all it does?

I can already upload straight to facebook....

I could say downloading a bunch of games is "pointless" as well, it's just something fun to do.

I just figured with all the hype this must be some mega app.... it has about 8 filters, and that's it.... a good photo app is camera360.

I looked into it, and just didn't see the appeal of making my phone photos look old-timey. LOL! Like you said, I can already import directly to Facebook. If I want to take a good picture, I'll use a real camera.

I lost count of how many camera apps I have in my phone. I do like Instagram. It has some features that the others don't that I like. I enjoy the simple built-in social aspect of it.

I like Instagram, haha. I agree it doesn't have, like, the most features or anything. But I like that it's super simple and I think it makes my cell phone pics look a bit flashier, or cooler. Plus I like being able to have a twitter-like deal and see my friends photos they're posting.

It's not just a photofilter app though. You can follow celebrities (I'm following Justin Bieber, Taylor swift, etc) and you can see pictures they post as they post them, etc. Its like twitter but with pictures. I love it, it's cool!

There's also a social media aspect of it (following people, seeing their pictures streaming) which is why it's so popular

I actually don't even use Instagram to take the photo. I have a better camera app and a better editing app than what Instagram has to offer. I also don't have mine linked to Facebook. It's just a separate social media app for me.
