That is annoying...

...why is it that things like that always happen when there in no one around to fix them ;)

Alarm on the computer, something is failing and our IT department is on holiday today, as are our bosses so no one is available to fix it, it was blaring without break all day until I shut it down and made the executive choice to manually issue tickets and write receipts until just before we close when I will re boot and input everything at once.... It was that or go mildly insane! The noise is loud, repetitive and non stop!

To whoever added the sour cherry pie! THANKS! I could not figure out how to add another after I clicked on poll! I guess I had to request more than 4 options prior! Now it feels like a proper Chaz poll!!!

God, no. LOL Barking dogs...sure...I can put them outside. That stupid beeping noise? Heck. No. I don't even like it when the chime sounds letting us know one of the patients has tangled/kinked/dislodged its IV line. If I can't figure out how to unkink it before a tech is able to come in on the weekends I have to listen to it until they get there and it drives me CRAZY. I always feel horrible for the animal that is sitting right by it. Not only are the sick and not getting their IV fluids, they have to listen to that God-awful noise.

Much nicer today!!! IT was here when we opened and switched out the machines... Thank God or I'd have gone home sick... Seriously.... I don't think I could have handled another day of that! And it's busy with commercial traffic so shitting down like yesterday afternoon would not have been possible....

That pitch falls in the range I can't hear with my left ear, so it'd drive me bonus crazy because it'd be so uneven. I have the same problem with the pulse ox beep in surgery at my own work. It is so irritating and disorienting to know the thing is on my left but I hear it on my right.
