May be an odd request but Bandit is a little too chubby right now. I train with treats in high distracting areas as he is very food motivated. My issue is I want kibble right out of the bag that is small so we can do more training with less food. I'm trying to build up his toy motivation but lets face it walking by a snarling freak show of a dog means I need some yummies on me so he is super motivated to listen to mama!

He does get ear infections so even though I doubt anyone would suggest a low quality kibble I felt the need to say he has to be on a higher end one. If he isn't I deal with hot spots and ear gunk out the wazoo as well as even more shedding. If you knew how hairy he is the idea of more shedding is enough to make you cry.

Anyways, recommend me something. :D

The grain free Fromm formulas (Beef Frittata and Surf N' Turf) are tiiiiiny. So is Nature's Variety Instinct.

EVO is tiny, and TOTW puppy is also quite tiny!

I think it would be great if there was a "kibble guide" that showed each brand's kibble size/shape/color.

Would that be too nerdy? If I did that as a project? LOL!

Never too nerdy for dog lovers! I wish I had that to go by! I don't want to have to soak and cut up kibble. I'm too lazy to make salads for myself. It'd never happen.

Any Small Breed formula! Now Small Breed Adult has teeny kibbles. Many don't have a formula difference, just smaller kibble, and even when the formula is a bit different, it shouldn't affect him.

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty stoked to go check it out. Do they only come in small bags or can I buy them in larger bags too for small breed formulas?

NV Instinct is tiny, and Victor is also pretty small, but not quite as small as the Instinct. I had a bag of Diamond Naturals a while back that was TEEENY but I can't remember what kind it was.

A few of the different brands are coming out with 'toy' size kibble, as opposed to 'small breed'. Blue Buffalo comes to mind. Eukanuba too (not that I recommend it).

What about even a dog food roll or freeze dried, so you can break off your own crumbles?
