She's really a looker - so graceful-looking. Any guesses at what she is ( I think I read mexidog, but...?)?

She looks great. How are you doing her ear now?
I think it's almost up. The bit of tape I have glued on her ear now is the only thing holding it up, it's reinforcing the fold that should be there to hold up the ear. That fold has been the only issue now - so once I correct that, I'll be surprised if the ear falls. I'm just glad I have so much ear-posting experience, so I know all the tricks to make natural ears stand!

How's her personality shaping up?
Amazing! She's a very happy puppy, very upbeat and confident. She's a hoot. Definitely the kind of dog that loves life. :)

That's what she is, a mexidog. She isn't a combination of breeds - she's a primitive type pariah dog that has been around for thousands of years. They're extremely close kissing-cousins to the Xolo - in fact, many street dogs are considered by dog people familair with the region to be pure coated Xolos, or Xolo mixes. The Mayans and the Aztecs kept them for a variety of reasons (some to eat, some to sacrifice, some to act as guardians of the home, etc.)
