Somebody had a birthday today....

... or maybe.... two somebodies!

Two years ago today, I was in Illinois helping with a litter of 15 puppies. 13 survived.

Two of which were Jayne and Jador. Of their other littermates, I also know Maestro, Vader, Reagan and the lovely Zarah. (Zarah lives with a Kaylee son, named Unix!)

Eight weeks later, Jayne was already biting the cr@p out of people...


And of course, being irresistibly cute...


Their cake! I practiced the icing and it looked great - but once I actually got to the cake, I think my hands were sore and it ended up looking awful!



Jayne decided his birthday gift to himself was to NOT listen to me when I told him to stay and leave it. Jador, on the other hand, was an angel and did as she was told. Note her well behaved, not-eating-cake feet.



Jayne, you've got frosting on your chin... ah... whatev. It's your birthday, enjoy it.

Yep.. and the crazy thing is, momma's first litter was a litter of three!

I may have! Took those when I didn't know he'd be mine.

Whats cool is I remember you posting pictures of them, and I liked the green ribbon boy. Now I get to see his pictures all the time.
