Penny is my 5 month old Aussie puppy.
I wanted to name her Poppy but she didn't respond to it. I tried calling out a couple of other names and she was like "meh", but as soon as I said Penny she perked up and was like "HIIIII!" lol
So Penny it is.

(Sorry my pictures as soooo not as awesome as all of yall photo savvy people but at least I got some lol)

Bear, Penny's littermate is on the left. She has a stoner face thing going on.

Her nails definitely need to be cut. I am going to get one of those Dermel things this weekend (I think that's what they are called)

Happy face!

I like how she is the ONLY one paying attention to me while the boys have their tongues stuck out. (The Scottie in the bottom corner, Mickey, is Bear's daddy. Bear as in my old Scottie, not Bear as in the Aussie lol)

Poor Mickey.

That is all. I know the pictures aren't good and it surely doesn't help that the sun was going down behind me. And that they are covered in mud thanks to this terrible weather we have been giving and has left everyone's yards with enough water in them to go swimming.

Thanks yall.

Tomorrow I am going to do some more one on one training with her. She does good when she is around Mickey and Bear, but she does GREAT when its just her and I.

I absolutely LOVE her curly coat and it is sooooo soft. Sadly, she will probably grow out of it :( lol

Oh, you mentioned somewhere something about getting a Dremel. Here are the best instructions ever in case you want them. I forget if it includes conditioning the dog to it, but it's just like anything else....c/t for baby steps. They sure do a nice job and the dogs generally are more comfortable with it than clippers as long as it's introduced carefully and they don't get burned by it. Read on for a very thorough description:

Amazon really is my best friend :rofl1:

lol personally, I prefer http://www.dog.com/ for general dog supplies/big orders .. only because amazon (especially for small items) can seem really inexpensive.. and then you realize shipping is $14 or something totally ridiculous. Dog.com is inexpensive, most products are high quality and there is 4.99 flat rate shipping if your order is over $49

But yea, before I buy anything off dog.com, I always check the reviews on amazon! lol it's so handy!!
