New facebook for me....

Alright, I just made a new facebook, like Fran did.

It was getting totally insane. I'm so done with the lack of privacy on facebook lol. I HATE that now when I post comments on 'like' pages and whatnot, that all my friends can see it in their newsfeed, even if they too don't like the page.

I don't want everyone knowing my business, it's just annoying. My stepsister was just like "You spent $60 on a dog collar?! crazy person" and I was like... how did you just see that... and it was just on her newsfeed. SO annoying. It happened a few weeks ago too, this woman I meet up at the dog park like knew EVERYTHING about what I had done or purchased or whatever in the past weeks. Apparently nothing is private anymore on facebook and it's just effin' annoying.

So I think I'm going to make this second facebook be for chazzers, and whoever else I don't mind seeing my business, or whatever. I'll still keep you all on my regular one, I think, for a while. But I'll no longer be posting to you guys or to any FB groups I like and such on my other profile.

I kind of want to do this as well. My EX boyfriend called me a few nights ago and asked "So what is Paco Collars?!" So I had to sit there and explain it to him and I'm sure he thinks I'm certifiably INSANE.

We talk occasionally as we've been friends for 11+ years... but yeah, it was literally the first thing out of his mouth on the phone. Like "Hey! So what is Paco Collars?"

LOL! I know, right. It can be a little embarrasing when there's people who just... don't understand, or think we're certifiably crazy, LOL. Lord only knows what other people think of me, now that I know they can see EVERYTHING I do. hahaha.

And Jessie, I am so tempted by Tucker's 10-12' collar you have for sale. But I have got to get rid of some of my other ones before spending ANY more money, hahaha.

That's exactly how I feel! I explained to my ex that some people collect shoes or purses- I like collars! I'm sure he still thinks I'm a serious head case, though! Oh well! Dog people understand at least!

Meh, I just systematically delete people off my current FB. LOL

Yeah, problem is, I can't really delete my step-sister, LOL. I don't see her a ton of often enough for it to be awkward. But I'd still prefer her not to know all my business, haha. Same with all my other family members and stuff. I don't really care so much about the ppl that I, like, NEVER see and what they think of me.

I just don't have this issue! If it's on there, it's fair game.. Anything else I use self restraint and wait till I see people in person...

Plus I don't add people indiscriminately.. or play games, or add apps, or 'like' tons of things!

You know there is a restricted list on facebook, right? All the nosy/negative people go in that list for a timeout if they don't behave lol

I'm telling you.. best thing I've ever done!!!

No more "oh god.. how many dog pictures are you going to comment on?" or just plain ol' judgement or even just.. "dammit, I want to like this but I don't want everyone to see!"

No I have my chaz Facebook where I can be as silly and naturally crazy as I'd like without judgement!
and all my work/college/family people are safe and sound on my other Facebook.

So glad I'm not the only one with two facebooks... I have one for family and one for friends because goddess forbid I swear where my family can see it... but my male relatives can swear all they want and nobody ever says anything. Got tired of it. -_-

Isn't that why you can create groups where only certain people can see what you post to that group.

I have no idea... sounds complicated LOL.

I just want to be able to 'like' pages, or comment on a picture, or whatever and NOT have the whole world be like "oh, so you are doing such and such?" Grrr. FB did not used to be like that. It used to only be I'd see my friends posts who ALSO 'like' the same page as me.

Even a few weeks ago, I posted on a breeder's photo that I've been talking to on/off for a year and said something about liking a puppy of theirs, and how I hope to have one of their pups someday, and one of my "dog park friends" was like "Oh, so are you getting a puppy?" and I was like ummm.... why do you ask? And she told me like everything I had posted, and this was a breeder's private FB page. Sooo weird.

And believe me, I went through and switched everything to private that I could find.

Yeah, I am just getting around to using facebook recently ( I know I am the last person on the planet to) and I find it annoying that it shares everything I 'like' with other people.
