You are GORGEOUS!

And I gagged at the extra toe thing LOL No offense to the extra toe people, but feet gross me out.
And I love ballet, I am constantly watching ballet vids on youtube. I did hip hop dancing when I was young, I loved it and still do.

Occupation: Graphic artist

Age: Getting darned close to 8 in dog years

About your dog(s): Murphy - 8 yr old GSD/Husky/? mix; my very mellow boy, he likes to think about things (ie, the strange, inexplicable behavior of humans... Wait, I can chase raccoons but not the barn cats??)
Michaleen (Mick) - Murphy's littermate but he looks more setter/collie-ish. More volatile than Murphy, quicker to take offense at other dogs (Riley) but a real sweetie with people he knows.
Riley - 2-1/2 yr. old stripey boy - maybe boxer/whippet/something?? mix. Not happy unless he gets to run, run, run. Still not a morning dog, takes him a good five minutes to drag himself (literally) out of bed.

Interests: Dogs, horses, fencing, scootering, reading, some photography, collecting books, dog figurines (any medium except plastic/resin), & Vaseline glass.

Favorite music: I'll listen to just about anything from classical to big band to the hip hop stuff my niece dances to...

Favorite book: I have favorite authors/series, but if I had to narrow it down - To Kill a Mockingbird

Favorite quote: No particular favorite

Random fact: I have small feet (size 5 C)

Occupation: Currently, stay at home army wifey.

Age: 23

About your dog(s): Lugar - 5 1/2 yr old Boxer/pit?X.... Best dog ever, he's very friendly (yet very protective when he knows to be), doesn't misbehave (ok maybe a little sometimes... :rofl1: ) such a smarty pants. He's fantastic! Love him to pieces!

Interests: Dogs, cats, drawing, listening to the hubby play guitar, the beach, fishing, 4wheeling, dancing! Some others but I can't really think of them right now. LOL

Favorite music: Anything really. Rock, Metal, Rap/HipHop, Country... been on a country kick lately though!

Favorite book: I don't like reading. It makes me sleepy.. lol Does COSMO magazine count??

Favorite quote: Things happen for a reason.

Random fact: I am absolutely petrified of cockroaches :yikes: I can't watch them on TV or even see them in a picture or else I start to feel anxiety build LOL I can't even bring myself to kill them. Or else this will be me -->
One other fact - I might look really "girly/prissy" but I'm really not. I'm not into shopping, latest designer clothes/fashions. I am ME.. I'm not afraid to get dirty, or to get sweaty. I grew up with 3 older brothers, I was the only girl... I think that had quite a bit to do with it. LOL

Me

I don't know what it is about you, but I have a feeling if I walked into an emergency clinic with one of our dogs and you were on shift, I'd be really comfortable. I don't often get those vibes but for some reason I do with you! How odd is that?

Maybe I'm just over tired. LOL

Aww thanks! I try hard, unless you're the idiot who's dog has been in labor for 72 hours and you're bringing her in now because she's stinking up your house with the decaying tissue smell.

I LIKE that job. It is exciting, and fun, and rewarding. As well as being horribly depressing. Kinda like life, huh? Then again, I am only working ONE day a week now. Of course, it is our busiest day, but I have the rest of the week to decompress and heal.

Ohhhh boy... I'm in for a treat when I graduate school, aren't I?
I'm looking forward to it, though.

*sorry for the thread jack!!!*

Age: Just turned 28
About your dog(s): Finnegan's a three-year-old tricolour Border Collie. Got him when he was a wee pup, he drives me nuts and I love him to pieces. He's my co-pilot, I don't know what I'd do without him.
Interests: Pets & animals in general (derp), art, knitting, crocheting, running, gaming (tabletop, card, video and board alike), cooking, Lego, perfume oils, haircare...
Favorite music: Runs the gamut of genres. Electronic, folk and indie rock are my top three. I like a little bit of everything.
Favorite book: Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
Favorite quote: "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
Random fact: I was born to a mother deemed infertile (my older brother is adopted for this reason). At 44 years old, suddenly, BABY. Poor mum. My dad was over the moon, as he always wanted a girl.

Occupation: Student until 6PM tomorrow (my last final!.. until I break ground on another degree)--working on my BS in BioSci, focus evolution and ecology. I also work part time in an evolution lab, although that might be ending at the end of the month. I'm trying to get a Biological Science Technician job. We'll see.
Age: 22
About your dog(s): I just have Elsie--17 month old best friend and destroyer of stuff.
Interests: Dogs (duh--specifically, clicker training and getting into dog sports), evolution (more duh ;] ), fish, reading (science stuff and sci-fi mostly; because of the stress I've started reading Dirk Pitt novels by Clive Cussler--they're not great, but they are fun), zombies, horror films, photography, art/drawing, RPGs (the only one I'm currently in is a text-based GURPs deal online--zombies and guns!), I watch a bit of TV, and I'm trying to learn to garden.

Favorite book: Toss up between The Hobbit and Lolita.
Favorite quote: "Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have. Wait, wait--I worry that what you just heard was, "Give me a lot of bacon and eggs." What I said was, give me all the bacon and eggs you have. Do you understand?" -- Ron Swanson.

Favorite quote: (taken directly from my faceache) You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

I'm old enough to know better, but young enough not to care.

"I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

Come, faeries, take me out of this dull house! Let me have all the freedom I have lost; Work when I will and idle when I will! Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, For I would ride with you upon the wind, Run on the top of the dishevelled tide, And dance upon the mountains like a flame.

Random fact: Errrr... I really want a log burner putting in the house.

Yes, I totally fail as a self-photographer, lol. It's hard to hold the camera AND that big honking bounce flash steady with one hand!

I have no idea why I took these, other than I made the mistake of stopping at the truck stop and getting coffee after being stuck in a traffic pileup from a wreck in the rainstorm on the way back from the Writers' Guild meeting in Knoxville.
