What did you buy/do you own that even dog people think is ridiculous?

Buzz has a Serta mattress (made for dogs). It's large, it's memory foam, and he loves it. It is big enough for him to share with Bailey when he feels like it and they don't even have to touch. It was right around $100 with free shipping. I've never regretted the purchase. Oh, and he always has at least 3 blankets on it but that is honestly more to protect the mattress than to give him additional comfort as he loves to dig in his beds.

What ridiculous dog thing do you own?

We have a ridiculous dog bed. It's suede, feels better than our own couch, and looks nicer too. It's so big I can fit in it, with a 50 lbs dog, with room to spare:

It was obscenely expensive, but it as a gift. I do not buy my dogs expensive things because they like to eat them.

People think the sheer amount of dog beds we have is crazy. Two in my room, one in mom's room, two in the basement by the computer and three in the living room. But they need them. I can't expect them to lay on the wood floors and it's impractical to lug a bed each to and from every room that they'll be staying in for any period of time.

The only other impractical thing I have are three expensive collars. People don't understand how bored I get with plain collars, and definitely don't understand why a dog needs a fancy collar. And they don't need them, but they sure do look nice in them. I just tell them that dogs who are photographed as often as mine are might as well look as pretty as they can!

Other than that, I don't think any other dog item we have is impractical.

I got my dog ferrets, isnt that enough? :p. really though, when walking Rosey and Harley, together, I get asked who owns who, or why the dog deals with the ferret. I tell them the dog owns us both, or that she deals with the ferret cause it's her pet.

Really nothing impractical or out of the ordinary... She has a bed but prefers the couch

Oh I also got the bed I have now cause it came with another, lower bed that I wanted for her. Most of the time I got stuck on the other bed

LOL I didn't even think about that. Yes, Elsa has some 1,000 sqft apartment that is hers. There is a bathroom, kitchen, etc. It's sort of like I imagine she owns her own place and I just visit.
