So, I was browsing Amazon for crap to watch that was free since I don't have Netflix anymore, and came across the new version of Dr. Who. They're all free to watch (since I have Prime) so I figured what the hell, might as well watch one and see how I like it.

****. I think I'm addicted :rofl1: Now this is the new one, I think from 2005? But it's still pretty good. I'd love to see the originals, if anyone knows where I can find them!

I was watching Iron Man II the other day and towards the end I thought, "Just like Cybermen!" :D LOL

Speaking of which, does anyone know when season six will be available on Netflix?

Dr.Who is one of those shows I know for a fact I am going to get addicted to when I start.

I suffer from all the typical symtoms.. obsession with british tv, constantly re-blogging Dr.Who quotes and not even realizing what I am doing until I see the show the quote is from, being part of FAR TOO MANY nerdy fandoms etc..

It is going to happen. I accept it.

I have decided to at least try to save my grades by waiting til summer lol

It's funny, because had I known what it was about before I started watching it I probably never would have watched it. But I was completely clueless, and I freaking LOVE it lol.

Very good self control :p I can see you become HOOKED forever on it. As you said, you have the symptoms already, and you like Merlin, and whoever likes Merlin and Harry Potter also likes/loves Doctor Who.

Finished season 4 and the David Tennant specials. I was kind of skeptical when he Tennant first started, but I'm going to miss him as the Doctor. I almost didn't see that there were 4 specials between season 4 and 5, I would have completely missed what happened :yikes:

NOW...Amazon says season 5 is $2 an episode. I don't think so! They were free yesterday when I was looking, so I'm going to have to figure out what happened. I KNOW my Student subscription hasn't run out yet, I've only had it for a few months. Amazon, DO NOT CUT ME OFF lol.

Well apparently I was hallucinating last night because season 5 and 6 apparently never were free with Prime. But I can get season 5 on Netflix and it's $7.99 a month, way cheaper. They don't have season 6 though.

Anyone know where I can find season 6 for free/cheap? And while we're at it, how about Season 1 of the classics, from episode 1-26? Amazon starts at Season 1 Ep. 27 o.0
