I found a new trainer and I am really really really hoping I can get Mia back into class. So yeah we need vibes that they will have a class that she can go to that will work with my schedule and that she'll actually return my emails.

I'm incredibly excited/nervous. I really really want to get back to agility and I think Mia does too.

YAYyayYAY! Vibes your way for Mia to get back into agility.

I think I FINALLY found someone for Jackson and I am super excited to get some foundation work in him. She seems really really good. AND they have a time that I can do. Since I'm going to school over near my dads house now, I stay there Tues thru Thurs and there's one 30 minutes from his house Wednesday nights when I'm free. So I'm also hoping to get Jackson into it and hope she responds. She has a class starting Wednesday.

I started a foundations class with Keegan just before Christmas. I got pretty far with Luna's agility training... it's SO addictive but after a few years it got a little tedious so we quit. But in Keegan's class now we're finally getting into slightly more advanced handling, and I'm being reminded why I loved it so much. :D

Good luck, Lar!

I so hope it works out for us! If the schedule is right on the website there's a beginner's class at a time I could come.

I've been so frustrated trying to find a trainer here that would either answer my emails or have a class at a time we could come.

We've been playing with some jumps and tunnels lately in the yard. In her obedience class we've played with tunnels. It's a beginner's class and the other dogs have never seen one before. But she was zipping back and forth through the tunnel so fast. And then yesterday we were doing rally and sending dogs over a jump as part of the routine. Mia took the jump insanely fast (which probably isn't any good for rally). One of the ladies told me I needed to do agility with her and I explained my frustration with finding an instructor and she recommended this one. So we will see. I am very hopeful.

Mia's done about 6 months of training and Summer about 2 years.

I hope it works out for you! Do you have a large yard or access to space to train on your own? There are quite a few resources out there to teach yourself....you might want to consider that as an option as well.

Screw Rally, keep the speed and do agility! ;)
