For Rascal...

So I got this envelope in the mail this morning... and it was labelled from Paco Collars, and on it said "leather cat collar". I was like "wtf? I didn't order anything from Paco... why are they sending me stuff?!" So I open it, and low and behold, there is this teeny tiny collar in it. I figured whatever, grabbed (a sleeping) Harley, and put it on her. I was all "OMG SO CUTE". Yah.. and then I realized there was a card... and I read the card. And then I became a blubbering mess

This collar was ordered by Jessie, for Rascal. It can be worn as a bracelet, in memory of him, so I always have a little piece of him with me. I never want to take it off. (although I likely will when I take Harley to therapy visits so she can wear it, or go out with one of them)

As soon as you made the thread about Rascal's illness, I sent Paco Collars an e-mail to see if they could do a 'rush' project for me. I ordered the collar and they had it sent to you the next day. I wanted you to have a 'piece' of Rascal with you always <3

I love Chaz. That's amazing.

This. I dont think I broke down because of memories of Rascal or whatever...It was that somebody could care *that* much. Everybody IRL obviously shared their sympathies, but it was like, they had to say something to be polite, not that they actually cared about it.

Now I'm tearing up!

I'm so glad I was able to have it made and sent to you. Our pets are family and it's so nice to be surrounded by others who feel the same way. I love Chaz, too
