Not that I don't see her all the time anyway, but Mike was having a really busy day today and tomorrow and thought it would be best for me to bring her home with me for the weekend so she's not all by herself at the apartment. So she's hanging out with me today and getting a bath in at work tomorrow before I return her to her daddy.

Since I haven't ever really gotten any good pictures of her, I tried to take some with my cell phone while we were watching a movie. Alas, black dogs are a pain in the butt to photograph, especially in dim lighting with a cell. So these pictures may be a bit out of focus/not very good, but they are better than what I had previously!

She's a much better cuddler than Chloe is:

Chloe said, "Fine, I don't want to sit by you anyway," and went over and climbed up in the chair LOL:

Now, all of you wise dog people...breed guesses? When Mike adopted her (she was full grown when he got her) he was told by her owners she was a Lab/Shepherd mix. Since she's a whopping 30 pounds and the size of a leggy Cocker Spaniel, that seems a bit unlikely.

Ahh, she's so cute! And so is Chloe!

As for breed guesses, I'm pretty clueless on this one. My only guess is Lab/Spaniel? Her eyes in the 2nd picture remind me of a Spaniel

I think Lab/spaniel, too. What kind of spaniel on the other hand...

I can't help but wonder....why is there a horse in your house?
Bwahaha, my younger sister got it for Christmas a few years back. It's one of those fur-real things. Mom is still hanging on to it for whatever reason, even though Mel's outgrown it. So it is just sitting in our living room.
