There was some sweet frost yesterday, so I rushed home from work and grabbed my camera so Zuma and I could hit the trials. I still think it's funny that there's more snow on the trees than on the ground, weirdest winter ever.

Very pretty! Both the dog and the weather. It looks a lot like freezing fog. We have it once in a great while around here, and I always try to grab a camera!

That's actually exactly what it was. Really foggy and then it froze. I'd actually never seen that happen before.

I love this set of pictures. They are almost ethereal in a way, though Zuma's eternal "I LOVE LIFE" expression kinda makes it less serious. But that's how I like her best.

Thanks everyone! I was super lucky that the frost stuck around until after I got off work. By the time we were done hiking and were driving home, it was already starting to disappear.

wow--that frost is crazy cool! And Zuma is just such a strikingly beautiful dog! Great combination for pictures!
