Tangerine Tango has Landed!

He's here! Got in late last night and had a bit of a rough night. You could tell he was really tired and all he wanted to do was sleep but at the same time he wanted to make sure he was in a safe place. He seems to have a dislike for men that I'm hoping we can work through with lots of very tasty treats. He velcroed to me almost instantly as you'll see in the pictures and definitely thinks I'm the coolest thing since kibble. He's soooo cute and tiny and awsome and perfect and I adore him XD Every time I leave the room and come back, he greets me like I've been gone for yeaaaars <3 The pictures are sequential, I probably won't do too many captions. There are 12 so there will be two posts.















That last one is when he decided he loved me and started staying super close.

Yay!!!!

He took about 2 days to get used to my brother, and ever since then my brother was his FAVORITE PERSON EVARRR. He liked my dad right off the bat, but most dogs seem to. Braunschweiger liverwurst is his favorite treat in the world, so if all else fails give that a shot lol.

Has he decided he likes Izzy yet? He was fine with all the dogs he met here, so if not I suspect he's probably just stressed from the trip, so hopefully her gets over it soon!

Awwww, I'm so glad it all worked out! Could resist grinning from ear to ear when I saw this picture:

He thinks Izzy is cool and Izzy thinks he's a neat little fuzz blob. Izzy has to learn how to handicap herself a bit still. She chased him up and down the stairs and he ended up hiding to he could catch his breath <3 They have curled up within 6in of eachother though so I think they'll be fine as long as food is kept out of the equation. Izzy is food aggressive with other dogs and Tango isn't really going to be able to defend himself in that situation. If Justin would just let Tango come to him, they'd be fine but he wants to be able to pick Tango up and cuddle him like I do but Tango is sooo not having it lol.

Glad he likes Izzy! Logan had to learn how to handicap himself, but he eventually figured it out lol. Gavroche has had previous chihuahua experience so he was good to go

Has he met the kitty yet?

Jade is being territorial lol. Since she's bigger than him, she's chasing him instead of shying away. Tango thinks that's a super fun game! I can't get him to acknowledge that his new litterbox exists but I'm sure he'll get it soon.

That sounds like Tango :rofl1: He likes it rough lol
