not how old (though if you can put an age on it, please do! i'd say i'm probably an inner child of 8 years old). rather, how often do you let your inner child out, or how often does it want to come out?! :)

this was sparked by a post on reddit i just read that really hit home with a childhood dream of mine. there are photos of his in-home slides, and a video! they even have a slide that goes from their home to their pool outdoors.
the comments are hilarious too, some of the things he's being asked.

of course, this is superfluous, and a silly (albeit fun) way to spend money, but if they have it, more power to them.

what are your inner child's wants?

I just told my husband today that when we finally buy a house he is allowed to get a slip'n'slide and use it whenever he wants.
Every summer this one house by the best sledding hill in town offers up their water to help local college students build a giant slip'n'slide down the sledding hill... It's gotta be at least 100 feet long. No kids use it, just college/uni students lol!

I used to work at Disneyland here in Anaheim. There are so many tales I could tell you but I don't want to ruin Disney for you :p so I'll just be quiet :lol-sign:

star ceiling lights would be pretty neat in a home theater.

i've always wanted a tree house. living in the woods, it made sense to have a real one instead of one of those that you buy and put in your yard. but we never had either! i made do with the stands hunters used :p
someday, tree house. someday.

My inner child is massive. That house would be so much fun for me.

My inner child's wants, currently?

I want a king-sized water bed and I want to bounce on it and roll around on it to my heart's content. Also it should be a racecar.

I want a gigantic bean bag chair/loveseat.

I want a bouncy fort in my backyard and I want it there forever.

Oh my! *gasps* All those pictures look soooooooo neato to me. That slide from the closet into the pool. How I'd love that! The book case into the secret room. I have thought about that recently even. How cool would that be? I thought about designing another house some day and doing that. But I couldn't hire anyone to make it or else they'd know it was there. So, I'd have to figure out how to frame that part of the house and sneak it in. LOL. See...all this has crossed my mind. A person could hide guns and other valuables in the secret room.

The starry ceiling is awesome and that cool tree house and fort with the lights inside. Yeah, my inner child is non-containable. My inner child is expressed I think, in various ages from about 6 or 8 all the way through the teens, I guess. Until I hurt my back a couple years ago, I was sledding with the neighbor kids down my steep 500 foot driveway when I lived in Idaho. This was in my 50's. I'm pushing 60 and if I weren't afraid of wrecking my back, I'd be right back at it again. I climbed trees well into my 30's. I've always related to kids well because I think like they do. I'm really immature. :p LOL. I've always been really playful with my kids and other kids and really enjoy them. I still go out dancing at bars with my daughter and we're really like close friends as well as mother-daughter. Her friends, when they hang out with us always say they wish they had that kind of relationship with their moms and can't believe the things she will talk about with me....like gross things. LOL. So, I don't allow life to get so serious that I forget to hang out with my inner child.

*save to file*. This is SO beautiful and looks like something we can build for Katie.

I'm a kid forever in term of being too optimistic & trusting sometimes to the point of being naive & gullible :). I only see the goods in people & I RUN to my Heavenly Father for everything!!!

Well, there are He-Man sheets on my bed. By the power of Greyskull!

I sort of want to collect several dozen unwanted toilets and do an epic English style garden with them all planted with hanging flowers. Not sure why, but I've wanted to do that since I was a kid.

Some day I want to have a greyhound, paint it black and then use phosphorescent paint to paint a glowing skeleton on it.

I also want to make a giant penguin suit, travel to Antarctica, and commune with the penguins for a while. And build a hobbit house. Must have a hobbit house. Something like this would suffice:

Borrow a small child and 'have to' follow them in there to keep an eye on them.
