$125 is way high. If you're willing to pay shipping I'll give you one of my old 3Gs jailbroken and unlocked for free. Bear in mind you'll need to buy a data plan from your current carrier or else you won't be able to use any cellular data, the phone will act like an iPod touch where you can only get data over WiFi.

The 3G and 3GS use standard SIM cards, the 4 and 4S use microSIM, but even then, the card internals are the same. You can literally take an X-acto knife and cut a SIM card to microSIM size and it works just fine.

I'd be up for paying shipping! :) I'll shoot you a PM.

seriously, though, $125 is the LOWEST I've been able to find ANY at all. It's annoying. Ebay isn't even providing anything cheaper.

I know about the data pack needed thing and I think I'll set something cheap up, other wise just use wifi. I don't even have a data pack on my android, because I hate the phone so much. :p I mostly would just like an iPhone for general better-working ness and for texting.

Bogart, it's because I've got the 4. It's got a smaller SIM.

It really wasn't a big deal.

Just keep in mind what I said. Telus uses GSM for their 3G, and CDMA for their 2G. That means that as soon as you're out of range of the 3G service area, the phone is not going to work.

If you want a better texting app on your current phone than what comes pre-loaded on there, download Handcent. It's free.
