This is just for fun, as I know what my next dog will be. I always tend to stick close to certain breeds and figured I would see what others suggested :p

Temperament: Good with everyone... adults, kids, other dogs, etc. They don't have to love them 100%, but they definitely have to tolerate them (though loving them is a plus!).

Energy level: I prefer a more active dog, but not insanely active. I find it hard to say exactly what type of energy level I prefer because I'm pretty adaptable. I'd be doing walks, hiking, jogs, bike rides, agility, dock diving, off leash, swimming, etc.

Coat: I'd prefer a "wash and wear" coat ;) Little to no extensive grooming needed. I don't mind shedding at all though.

Size: Medium-Large. I'd say anywhere between 50-80 pounds, but I would go as little as 40 and maybe a little bit larger.

Trainability: I want a dog that is pretty trainable, but being a tad stubborn isn't that bad. Harleigh is about as stubborn as they come sometimes... for a Lab anyways ;) I'd really want to do Rally and/or Obedience, possible get a therapy dog certificate.

Thats all I can think of... if you need anything else just ask? :p

Well....you know what I have to say :rofl1:
A Traveler, erm, I mean a Koolie is definitely on my list! :D

What about a Golden :)
or a retired grey?
I've considered Golden's before, but I definitely prefer the field bred ones and I can't seem to find any breeders that I like (granted I haven't looked much). Haven't even thought about a Grey though, interesting.

Brittney is maybe a little smaller than you wanted but they fit the rest!
Brittany's are absolutely gorgeous and I've always loved the look of them, haven't read much about them though. I'd be willing to go their size though, as I don't think they are that much smaller.

A smooth collie would totally fit the bill ;)
Hmm - interesting! I've never even considered a Smooth Collie before. I don't know much about them, but maybe I'll have to read some more about them.
