Here are a few of my favorites..

From a sorta spontaneous road trip. Makes me want to jump in the car and just drive somewhere right now.

A horse I used to work with and the guy that gave me the opportunity to ride some nice horses. He passed away shortly after I took a riding hiatus and still makes me sad just remembering all the great times I had there.

And for some reason I've always liked this photo. The subject matter isn't too interesting, but I liked the lighting and light swish of the tail.

Sara, that one of Zuma and Classic is the most amazing picture ever. I can not believe you managed to get the same expression and almost same position with the rolled sit. I LOVE that one SO much

This needs to be cleaned up a bit in terms of contrast but i can't find the original.I like this because of the composition and the simplicity.

I'm not quoting any of the pictures because it would make my post huge. :p

But these are the ones I picked out my first time through.

Shai - that butterfly picture is gorgeous. I love the motion of the wings and the way the colors pop.

katielou - the picture of Abe in the meadow, I like the sweep of gold along the left side and the lighting does make it seem very fairytale-esque to me.

Dekka - the Kat picture looks like "Little dog, big world" to me lol.

Sarab - Zuma following Classic. The green of the hill, the size difference and the similar stance. I like that they're not centered in the frame either. The whole picture is awesome.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures. I like the way the light is hitting her face and how her fur sweeps up her neck on the side. And she looks pensive, not intense the way she usually does.

I'm just proud of this photo. I hadn't had the DSLR very long when I decided to try posed portraits of my animals. This one turned out by far the best.

From a band camp that I used to teach at... I guess the color and movement just draws me in. Honestly, in the smaller resolution it doesn't seem as impressive, but the director ordered enlarged prints of it and they looked AMAZING.

I only wish I had been smart enough to wipe the fingerprints off the glass. Even so, this is my desktop photo. It's just so... clean, bright, and simple. Lol.

This one I impressed myself with the focus and capturing the tongue-flick. :p

I just <3 this photo.

A prom photo. This was my first real shot at color-editing, too. I still love how it turned out.

I've always loved this photo. I don't really know why. The critical part of me looks at it and can nit-pick a dozen different things that didn't balance quite right. Yet I STILL love it.

... And those are all the ones that jumped straight into my mind when I saw this thread. LOL. I'm sure if I dig I will find more and more. ;)

I really like these two. The first one has such great colour and the subjects look so lovely AND happy. The picture shows not just what these people look like, but how they felt at that moment.

The second one has a great diorama feel. One of those accidentally staged moments of life.

I really like this one because it is SO Harleigh - it captures her personality just perfectly.

OK here is a couple more for me.
This is fun i don't have people IRL to critic my photos!

SFC Cemetery by AussieHike!, on Flickr
I love this one because it stuck out as the most heartfelt stone in the cemetery. I'm a funeral director and cemeteries are places i spend a lot of time in and i love to photograph but no stone has touched me like this one. A plot for three little girls.

Gun by AussieHike!, on Flickr

I took me camera a lot of focusing to finally get this one. This was a gun my grandpa help to salvage from a wreck.

Vegas by AussieHike!, on Flickr

I think that my taste in photos and editing is usually pretty muted but these colors just make me happy!

Lemon by AussieHike!, on Flickr

And finally the most delicious lemon meringue pie i have ever had. If your ever in vegas you must have one. I get one every time i go (which is way to often)

LOVE.THIS. <3

For now, here's a picture I took on my birthday.
I love it because it has my two best friends, my sisters.
And one of my other favorite things, sushi. <3 :p
It very much pictures who they are. Becca (left) is funny, goofy, but my rock. I spend every waking minute by her side, and I love her more than anything. Lexi (right) is a weirdo. She's not my blood sister, but she might as well be. I love her so much and would do anything for her.

When I have more time I'll try to find some more of my favorite pics. :)

LOVE the pictures in this thread! It's great to see all the different "eyes" people have for photography!

Here are some of my recent favourites...

Where I live - I love this shot because of the colours

One of my grapevines - I just LOVE the little vine twined around the branch

A vulture above my yard - I really like these birds

Though the quality sucks on this one, I still love it!

I really just love this tree! My cherry tree

A friend left his basketball in my truck... I got bored LOL

A few weeks apart! Where we practice sled racing
