I found some trouble.

They were found on an abandoned lot, in direct sunlight. 
A friend of the family picked them up and brought them to her garden, but it's a temporary foster home as her husband does not want them to stay in the yard. They appear to be healthy and they're nice and fat, so we are assuming a feral mama dog brought them there. They seem to be 5-6 weeks old.
I would take them in, but I can't afford or handle 3 puppies until Wink goes to her new home.

Oooooh, if that little black girl was still available I was going to be seriously tempted see if the boyfriend wanted her. He wants a puppy but doesn't have the time or money and I want a puppy but can't have it at the house and between the both of us we would have the time and the funds...and I need to stop thinking down that road.
Dang. He wants a female, preferably a medium sized black mutt dog. Athletic, even tempered, friendly, submissive. If anyone sees one of those floating around a shelter or rescue...

That describes pretty much every other dog at my shelter. Most of them are puppies, too
