Stupid was Stupid and said "I don't know what this weird thing is but you need to take my ball out of it and give it to me"

Because we had never done it before they made us go on the ramp into the water. Big mistake since it gave him waaaay too much time to think about it where as if we had just gone to the dock I think he might have been persuaded to jump but who knows. He ran to the dock after the ramp and wasn't convinced about that either.

As it was he showed the crowd how strong he was by hanging onto the ramp with just his back legs while paddling his feet to get the ball closer. There will be a video of this for everyone to enjoy.

I still love him and he got an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen but we have much practicing to do. And it was still a fun day even though Buttface and all.

Waiting in line with Crazy

Not gonna happen.

Awww, Trav am I really going to have to come up and let Blaze show you how to jump? :p

Did he ever watch an older experienced dog jump? Wonder if that would change his mind set to watch another dog getting his ball/bumper?

Awsome pics. Tell him he needs to learn so he can show Luna. Doug is considering putting her into it with Luna's love of water and her enjoyment of launching off the bank at the river.

:rofl1: Too funny, I bet he will catch on soon. This is exactly how it would go down if I tried to dock jump with Desoto. Except he would alternate trying to reach his ball with shooting dirty looks at me and grumbling. :lol-sign:

LOL!!! Omg, those are amazing pictures. I was afraid Jackson would do the same thing, even though he loves diving into my dads pool, so I ended up chickening out, LOL. I am glad you tried it with Traveler anyways!

If he jumps into a pool already, why were you afraid he wouldn't jump? Traveler was probably scared because the pool is blue with clear water. So they can't tell where the bottom is. If Jackson is already jumping into a pool with a bue bottom/clear water, he should have no problem jumping into a dock diving pool. :)

I've never seen him do it anywhere except my dads house... I'd have to find somewhere else to practice with first, I think.
