And then I found a book about pencil drawing, and I've been working my way through that these past weeks

are these in the order that you created them? I love the personality you've captured in the chaz dogs pics. And the pencil drawings--wow, very nice! (I smiled over Baxter's picture!)

You're really good!

On the first ones my biggest crit would have been MOAR DETAIL. But you're learning the intricacies of layering and detailing as evidenced in the pencil pieces, you're really moving along well! :D

Keep it up, I wanna see more!

I love them all, but the pencil drawings are incredible! Especially the second one.

Yeah, pretty much. Boone and the pencil drawings were all done in the past couple weeks, but I'm not sure about the rest.

And I'm glad you liked it :D

Ooooo detail. Its hard, but doing the pencil is helping me I think, my favorite drawing is the barrel, even if it was the hardest. It was hard for me to make it look like wood. Thanks!

Yay! I'm glad you like it, I tried to draw Raja as well, but that didn't work for some reason :/

Awesome expressions. You should make sure you date your drawings so you can track how fast you are progressing. Keep up the good work!

White is hard in color especially. One thing I've found is it's best to use color to shade white instead of just black/grey. Typically I use blue but it really depends on the shade of the dog. Sometimes it's purple and sometimes I put in some yellow or pink too.

It's a SPOTTY DOG!!! Jes texted me to see if I had seen this and I hadn't. Soo tickled!!

You picked a hard one with the first one when he was a puppy (ironically taken a year ago today on 4th of July) but you did great with it.

Also there is a Boone Man!! LOVE all of them
