I am looking for a toy I can stuff treats in and throw, and bonus bonus BONUS if it functions as a worthy tug.
Clean Run has a few, but I thought there might be a couple of you who've had experience with some and can recommend a good one. Auggie will rip and destroy cheaper toys very quickly in a game of tug so it needs to be reasonably durable.

Don't bother recommending a sock, I just plain don't want to use one. I don't need to give Auggie any more incentive to root through my laundry basket if I forget to close my closet door. =P I could use our existing clip-on treat bag (I've thrown it before), but it won't work as a tug and I'd really like a tug toy...

Katie's Bumpers makes a toy like that. It looks like one of their "bumper" type toys, but one end is velcroed so you can stuff it.

The treat bags you can buy in many pet shops work for stuff&throw, just make sure the cinch top can close completely (bonus for zipper). They are usually made of lined canvas so take a bit of effort to tear through...at least enough of a delay to stop the dog before he succeeds. Plus they are washable.

Otherwise I'd personally just make one but that's me.

+1 to all of this. Try army surplus and second hand shops for things made of durable fabric you can scavenge from.

My mom makes some really hard core faux fur tugs that have built in treat pouches. They're intended for throwing while stuffed, jackpots, and tugging... if you're interested.
